Job Title: Serious Injury ParalegalLocation: Wakefield (Hybrid Working)Salary: Up to £27,500 depending on experienceContract: Full or Part Time, PermanentRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:Support lead file handlers in managing and progressing serious injury cases. Draft standard letters to further the progress of cases using the case management system (ProClaim) Act as the first point of contact for the Fee Earner by answering incoming calls Handle telephone enquiries when possible, and take detailed messages to be promptly passed on to the Fee Earner Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis in collaboration with your line manager Regularly update and maintain the case management system Ensure that filing systems and other information management processes comply with the firm's standards Schedule appointments for the Fee Earner when appropriate Coordinate with the Finance Department on matters relating to disbursement payments, outstanding accounts, and similar tasks Assist with the efficient operation of the firm by supporting other staff during peak periods, including document production, task list management, answering calls, and general administrative duties. Sort and organise mail. Consistently perform well in a target-driven environment.
