As result of growth, they now require a Logistics Administrator to assist the Shipping and Distribution Departments in coordinating shipments and deliveries, ensuring timely arrivals, cost-effective transport and exceptional customer service.

The Job

  • Schedule and coordinate shipments
  • Communicate with overseas agents
  • Obtain and provide necessary documentation and information
  • Ensure efficient loading of containers
  • Prepare of shipping invoices
  • Update factory shipments on systems
  • Maintain digital shipment files
  • Maintain supplier payment records
  • Check and prepare payments to suppliers
  • Allocate customer cash payments
  • Book Goods Received Notes onto systems and address queries.
  • Process and invoice direct FOB shipments and dropship dispatches
  • Reconcile and issue customer credit notes and proforma invoices
  • Assist with year-end stock reconciliation and process sample requests

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in logistics, shipping or similar
  • 5 GCSES (or equivalent) including Maths and English Grade C
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
