Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division is exclusively partnering with a well-established global distribution business based in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Inventory Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role focuses on leading the stock control team to maintain efficient systems and processes that support organisational objectives. It also involves developing the team and fostering cross-department collaboration to contribute to overall business success.

Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Manager:

  • Oversee stock control operations to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Develop and implement effective stock control systems, optimising processes and resources
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing stock control team
  • Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are achieved
  • Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and organisational policies
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Manager role within a warehousing environment
  • A track record of working across multiple sites
  • Strong team management and leadership skills
  • Resilience and the ability to manage pressure, navigate challenges, and recover from setbacks effectively
