This role focuses on leading the stock control team to maintain efficient systems and processes that support organisational objectives. It also involves developing the team and fostering cross-department collaboration to contribute to overall business success.
Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Manager:
- Oversee stock control operations to maximise efficiency and profitability
- Develop and implement effective stock control systems, optimising processes and resources
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing stock control team
- Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are achieved
- Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and organisational policies
- Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
About You:
- Proven experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Manager role within a warehousing environment
- A track record of working across multiple sites
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Resilience and the ability to manage pressure, navigate challenges, and recover from setbacks effectively
