A large logistics company in the South Elmsall area is seeking a Planner to join their Transport Team.
The role requires planning vehicle runs for approximately 45 vehicles and ensuring compliance with delivery and collection requirements.
Candidates should have experience as a transport route planner, with knowledge of RTR and WTD, and must be reliable and flexible.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft packages are essential for this role.

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Planner to join the Transport Team to join a large logistic company based around the South Elmsall area.Duties of the role include but not limited to:• Plan Vehicle Runs for around 45 Vehicles • Ensure all deliveries and collections are in line with planned requirements.• Provide problem solving guidance on any operational issues such as late changes to plans and compliance with policies and procedures• Maintain compliance and conformance for safe working practices and working time regulations.• Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times.• Proactively identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies• Assist with driver and vehicle allocation, booking agency drivers, sub contractorsSkills required:• Experienced transport route planner, within general haulage• Knowledge of RTR & WTD• Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business• Effective communication skills• Organised, and able to prioritise and multi-task• IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages• Excellent communication and analytical skills Skills:PlanningRTRWTRRoute planningKeywords:PlanningRTRWTRTransport
