Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations hours of work will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday alternating each week between 07.00 to 15.00 and 15.00 to 23.00.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits.
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve any operational issues.
Maintain accurate records of production output, staff performance, and inventory levels.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software or systems is desirable but not mandatory.
