About the Role:This role offers a unique opportunity for a technically skilled individual to step into a mid-level manufacturing role that combines hands-on expertise, with strategic production oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in control panel manufacturing or a solid understanding of their design and assembly. For those with leadership potential, the role could also encompass Production Management responsibilities.

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will:

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for control panel production.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the production line.
  • Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.Monitor and manage production schedules, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure all products comply with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and oversee testing processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and quality assurance.Mentor and guide less experienced team members as needed.

To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineer role you will need:

  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembling control panels, or a strong understanding of how they are designed and produced.
  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, or a desire to transition from a hands-on role to a more strategic position.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
