Description
- Undertaking routine maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Overseeing the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Identifying potential improvements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborating with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team.
- Documenting all maintenance and repair work.
- Assisting with training of junior staff members.
- Responding promptly to any machinery breakdowns.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A strong background in Engineering & Manufacturing.
- Proven experience in a similar FMCG role.
- An excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrable ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
