Description

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be expected to:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner to keep machine down time to a minimum.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records on the CMMS system.

Profile

The successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Job Offer

  • Inside IR35 hourly rate c£20-30 (equivalent up to £50k)
  • Minimum 3 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position
  • Rotating 8 hour shifts - Morning/Afternoons
