About the RoleWe are seeking a Lighting Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for creating high-quality lighting designs and specifications tailored to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and coordinate lighting projects from concept to completion, using provided information to create final presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to discuss ideas, concepts, and alternative solutions.
  • Develop well-structured lighting plans that comply with building regulations while maintaining a high level of technical expertise and service.
  • Utilize Relux, Dialux, and AutoCAD to prepare detailed plans for internal and external lighting requirements.
  • Work closely with the team to brainstorm and implement design ideas.
  • Communicate with the Lighting Design Manager, Technical Director, and other departments to ensure projects align with regulations and compliance standards.
Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow within an expanding business. The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Lighting Design Engineer role.
  • LIA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience using lighting design software such as Relux, Dialux, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of lighting fundamentals and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and numerical skills to manage projects and budgets effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with close attention to detail.
  • An Advanced LIA certificate (desirable but not essential).
