Milk Education are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring and skilled EYFS Specialist Teacher to work in one of our partner primary schools in South Leeds from May 2025. This is a maternity cover and will be full time hours Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. 

This will be starting off on a temporary contract via our agency for the first 12 weeks but then after the 12 weeks you will be taken on to the schools direct payroll until the maternity cover is complete. This is expected to run into the next academic year and potentially even 2026! This is a lovely 2 form entry mainstream primary school which is rated as a 'Good' school by OFSTED. 

All applicants must have valid QTS, experience teaching EYFS children within a UK school setting, and ECT's are more than welcome to apply!

Primary Supply Teacher responsibilities/duties:

Plan earning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to provide tailored lesson plans and learning outcomes.Preparation of materials/equipment (e.g. books, pencils, art supplies, games, AVA equipment), preparing and clearing up activities with the pupils.Maintaining classroom resources and designated areas.Supervise individual or small groups of pupils undertaking teacher-led learning activities by coordinating and explaining basic instructions for the activity, adjusting activities within the scope of the lesson plan and learning outcomes in response to pupils’ learning.Recording of pupil achievement by monitoring learning against learning outcomes, informing the teacher of progress.Assist pupils to develop their independence.Register with us here at Milk Education as a Primary Supply Teacher today ready for the new academic year!
