Accelerate Teaching are looking for a skilled Key Stage 2 (KS2) primary teacher to join one of our client primary schools in the Wakefield area. We are currently seeking experienced KS2 Teachers to fill a full-time position at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School starting as soon as possible.

We are specially looking for someone that can jump in at the deep end and set the ground running straight away, as it's the start of the academic year, we need someone that can ensure that there are no setbacks for the children. You will be instrumental in play in shaping the academic and personal development of all children in your class. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Employing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Assessing student progress and implementing targeted interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development of each student.

To be successful in this role as a KS2 teacher, you should have:

  • Substantial experience in primary education, with a focus on teaching in and across KS2.
  • A proven track record of raising attainment and facilitating the academic success of students and evidence of this.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
