Experienced KS2 Primary Teacher (Part-Time 2 days per week)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to work in a thriving and welcoming school located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This part-time role is ideal for a teacher with expertise in Key Stage 2 (KS2) who is looking to make a positive impact on students' learning in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The role is to start in January 2025, from the 6th January and will be two days per week on a supply basis with the potential for an ongoing opportunity. Role Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS2.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all pupils are reaching their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver an engaging curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain communication with parents and carers, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods for primary education.
- Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work 2 days per week on a flexible basis, starting as soon as possible.
