Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) setting
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students with SEMH
  • Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly in SEMH settings
  • Strong understanding of the UK primary education curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a primary teacher in an SEMH setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for students with SEMH
