Job Duties:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) setting
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students with SEMH
- Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly in SEMH settings
- Strong understanding of the UK primary education curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:Minimum of 2 years' experience as a primary teacher in an SEMH setting
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for students with SEMH
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in mental health support for children
- Work in a dynamic and challenging educational environment
