At Randstad, we are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education across all year groups and helping pupils reach their full potential. There are full time & Ad hoc positions available in the Wakefield location and apply soon to be that perfect teacher we are looking for.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to different year groups and abilities.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to enhance student learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupils' academic and personal growth.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technology to improve learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching across different primary year groups.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different age groups.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including those of SEN pupils.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
