Hays Education are working exclusively with a well-established 'good' primary school in Wakefield with a rating of 'Outstanding' in the following areas: Behaviour and Attitudes. Early Years Provision. At this successful school their children come first. With a mission to clear and resolute: to empower each and every child. The school has been described as a safe, friendly and inclusive environment by pupils, parents, carers and staff. They are looking to recruit a Year 2 teacher starting in November 2024 until Christmas with the possibility of it being extended to the end of the Academic year. The ideal candidate for this Year 2 teacher job in Wakefield will have/be;

  • Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)
  • In depth knowledge of the Upper KS1 curriculum
  • A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning
  • Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
  • High expectations and a commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
