Are you an ambitious and knowledgeable Primary Teacher looking for a fantastic opportunity to ignite the minds of children?

Career Teachers are seeking a qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience of teaching Primary children at upper KS2 level, for a Primary school based in Featherstone in the Wakefield Education Authority. This is a full-time role to start October 2024 for one full term in the first instance. The role has great potential to extend. This position is suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT. Previous experience teaching and preparing students for SATs is advantageous.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to children of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and the development of communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Teaching certificate and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience teaching Primary at Upper KS2 level
  • Experience teaching and preparing students for SATs
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil achievement
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one

  • Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers
