We are seeking an experienced and confident Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and passionate year 1 teacher who wants to be part of a supportive school environment and make a real impact on young learners. Where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to young learners.

This role Is starting from the end of April on going till summer, the school are looking for someone who is ready to fully integrate into their school community, work closely with staff, and contribute to the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 students.
  • Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Supporting the emotional and academic development of pupils.
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching team and supporting staff.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress.
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Year 1 teacher.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passionate about teaching and supporting young learners.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
