We are seeking a dedicated and confident Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Wakefield. This school provides a supportive and engaging environment and the school is committed to providing consistency in teaching and ensuring the growth and development of every child. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Year 3 students
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Participate in school-wide activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour and implementing effective behaviour strategies.
  • Strong understanding of child development and different learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
