Are you passionate about early childhood education? Tradewind are looking for a nursery assistant for their pre-school on a full-time basis starting after October half term on the 4th November.

We are seeking a dedicated an experienced Nursery or Pre-school Teaching Assistant (TA) to support pre-school team in Wakefield after the October half term. You will play a vital role in helping to create a warm and stimulating atmosphere, guiding children through their early learning experiences. To qualify for this position, you must hold at least a Level 2 TA qualification, though a Level 3 qualification is preferred.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: Immediately after the October half term, 4th November 2024.
  • Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Location: A nursery school setting in Wakefield.

Your Role:

  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence, confidence, and curiosity.
