Supply Teaching Assistant

Pay scale: £85 - £100 per day

Daily or long term placements

Career Teachers are recruiting passionate and qualified Teaching Assistants to work in a range of Primary Schools in the Wakefield Education Authority. Successful applicants can work on a full time or part time basis.

Career Teachers support a range of schools including Independent, SEN and Faith Schools.

Role

  • Working closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning both within and outside the classroom
  • Working with individuals and small groups to provide targeted interventions
  • Working on a 1:1 basis with children with additional needs
  • Setting up the classroom and ensuring learning materials and resources are available
  • Building rapport and strong relationships with children, staff and caregivers

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification childcare level 3
  • Experience working with Primary age children
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Safeguarding level 1

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
