Our client is an industry leader in design, supply and installation of security and protection equipment which comply with British Standards and is in demand nationally. Due to growth their team of installation engineers require a fitter’s mate to join their team and support them on all works. What this looks like on a daily basis is accompanying an engineer in the vehicle, of which a driving licence is required as you will be driving the van most days, help and support the engineer with the installation on site, on site being existing buildings, learn what is required and build your knowledge and become hands on.
This role offers the opportunity to become an installation engineer and have all certificates and qualifications funded. This role is very much recruit for attitude, meaning the commitment and attitude to learn and desire to learn a trade and want to achieve results is essential, in return the starting salary is excellent and as this business still has a family run feel you will be looked after and rewarded.
If you have a CSCS card and have worked within construction this would be an advantage, or maybe you have been in building college, been a trainee electrician or plumber and looking for another career path or maybe done engineering during education or have working experience within this sector.
