RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out assessments/ training in accordance with assessment specifications and correctly completing all compulsory assessment documentation
- Ensuring evidence provided by learners is sufficient to meet company and awarding body requirements
- Providing objective feedback to the learner about performance and achievement Devising and agreeing an assessment action plan with the learner as appropriate
- Completing all relevant assessment forms and returning them to the Internal Quality Assurer/Centre Contact
- Help and support candidates with portfolio building
- Assess candidates work by:
- Direct observation
- Inspection of setting
- Indirect methods
- Assignments and written evidence
- Oral and written questioning
- Receive and act on feedback from internal and Internal Quality Assurers
- Communicate with employers and workplace mentors to confirm assessment dates, times and activities
- Attend standardisation meetings and planning meetings with Internal Quality Assurers Attend training and personal development programmes as requested by either the centre coordinator or Internal Quality Assurer
- Work according to all awarding body rules, the Code of Practice, the guidance on internal verification and the standards laid out in the A1 and A2 awards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Level 3 Electrical Qualification: 2365/2357 or equivalent
Level 3 Testing & Inspection
BS7671: 2018
Renewable qualifications (desirable) e.g.- Solar PV/EESS
Assessors must be experienced practitioners in their field and hold an adult teaching qualification (Cert Ed, TAQA or PTLLS) be D32, D33 or A1 and A2 qualified or working towards. Successful applicants without these qualifications must agree to undertake training and qualify within 6 months of starting work.
