Production Shift Manager

Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division are recruiting for an experienced Production Shift Manager to join a thriving fast moving manufacturing facility in West Yorkshire. The Production Shift Manager will report into the Production Manager and will have the skilled shop floor production team reporting directly into the position. The role of Production Shift Manager will be shift based Monday to Friday (Mornings and Afternoons on rotation with some weekend cover) and will require the individual to be a nurturing and strong people manager with the ability to listen and understand the team whilst making them accountable.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER: • Providing support and guidance to a team of production operatives • Full accountability for your shift including target achievement and OEE • Engaging with the team to progress towards achieving targets • Identifying and managing change and improvements

PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • Previous team leader/management/supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Collaborative and focused people and process leader with a nurturing and empathetic attitude • KPI and target-driven with the ability to analyse data and identify improvements • A safety-first approach with a strong grasp of quality If you are interested in the Production Shift Manager role, please get in touch with a copy of your latest CV.
