The successful Quantity Surveyor will be offered:
- Basic salary of £60,000 - £70,000

Quantity Surveyor requirements:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills:Â To accurately estimate costs and manage budgets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Good understanding of construction methods and processes, in order to effectively manage costs and contracts.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with building regulations and other legal requirements.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, to identify and resolve issues that arise during the project.
- IT skills, to use relevant software and databases.Â
Key duties for the Quantity Surveyor role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitor project spending and identify potential cost overruns.
- Advise on cost-saving measures
- Prepare and manage tender documents and contracts.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Manage variations and claims
- Provide financial advice to clients
- Identify and assess potential risks to the project.
- Develop risk management strategies and mitigation plan
