Recruitment Consultant

Pertemps Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an additional team member to work within their busy team this is a temporary position for 3 months initially with a view to extend or make permanent for the right candidate

The position is based at our client site DHL/The Range Wakefield Distribution Centre Pontefract WF6 1GY.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering the highest levels of support for our client, includes but is not limited to:

Place adverts and monitor applications for warehouse candidates

Answering recruitment enquires

Screening, processing and on boarding candidates

Conducting inductions

Complete necessary right to work checks for all candidates

Maintaining best practice as outlined by the business

Ensuring payroll is completed each week

Ensure accuracy at all times associated with the start to end recruitment process

Management of all systems i.e., JobMatching, Online Candidate Portal and Unity

Manage reporting on worker information with regards to sickness & attendance etc.


Key skills:


To possess a good level of communication skills both oral and written.

To work effectively as part of a team but also comfortable working alone

Great Organisation skills and the ability to prioritise where needed.

Focus and dedication to always achieve an excellent quality of service.

PC literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

To meet and exceed all tasks and functions without management reminder.


Admin experience is a must, recruitment and payroll experience are desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Team spirit along with the ability to work on your own initiative is a necessity.

Working hours will be 8am 4.30pm with some flexibility needed in line with client demands.
