Job Title: Accounts Assistant - Wakefield
We are collaborating with a respected client to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled and reliable Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Wakefield.
This position requires someone with Motor Trade experience and proficiency in using Kerridge, who can manage the full accounts process, including both purchase and sales ledgers.
This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Code and check invoices for accuracy
- Process payments via BACS or cheque
- Reconcile supplier statements and accounts
- File invoices and statements systematically
- Handle purchase enquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Manage the full accounts processes, including purchase and sales ledgers
- Complete financial transactions and maintain accurate records in Kerridge and Motor Trade systems
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Motor Trade and Kerridge systems
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with ADP is desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role, with a focus on purchase and sales ledgers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Salary: Up to 23,400 per annum (dependent on experience)
