Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply and long term cover in Secondary Schools across Wakefield, Castleford and Pontefract.
The ideal candidate must be able to
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the abscene of the class teacher.
- Effectively manage behaviour of a class of up to 30 students.
- Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintaining a positive learning environment, ensuring that the school's policies are upheld.
- Liaising with other staff members to ensure continuity and consistency in student learning.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
- GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
