Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a secondary school in Wakefield this September. This position is open to NQT's, ECT's or experienced teachers. You will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a UK secondary school.
  • Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
  • English Literature/Language related degree.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
