We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of French to join a dynamic school on a full-time basis from November 2024 (ahead of the usual January start). You will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging lessons that develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons that inspire a love for language learning.
- Teach students at KS3 and KS4, preparing them for assessments and exams.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a passion for French.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to develop resources and share best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in French or a related subject.
- Experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
