Prospero Teaching are looking for a Geography Teacher to join a reputable Secondary School in Wakefield this September.
The ideal candidate will be able to
- Plan and Deliver high quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Engage and work effectively with other members of staff.
This position is full-time and likely to extend.
This position is open to NQTs and ECTs looking to gain more experience in a UK secondary school.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Wakefield
- Position - Geography Teacher
- Start Date - September 2024
- End Date - July 2025
- Contract Type: Long term / Perm
- Hours - 08:00 - 16:00
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent.
- Geography related degree.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
