Geography Teacher - Part-Time (4 days a week)
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Start Date:ASAP, from 21st October until December 2024
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Wakefield.

Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure attainment targets are met or exceeded.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages positive student behaviour and participation.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and participate in parents' evenings and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting high school students in their academic and personal development.
- Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to promoting the importance of Geography in preparing students for future studies and careers.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in Geography or a relevant subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering student engagement and achievement.
- A passion for Geography and a desire to bring the subject to life for students.
