GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join one of our client schools in Wakefield. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will create an inclusive and motivating learning environment where all students can thrive. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and personal development.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons across various age groups.
  • Encouraging active participation in both lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Assessing and evaluating students’ progress and performance.
  • Managing the classroom environment to ensure safety and discipline.
  • Supporting students' individual development in line with the national curriculum.
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives, including sports days and tournaments.

Required Qualifications for a PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for promoting health and fitness.
