Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our team at Veritas working at a Secondary School in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher who has a passion for teaching psychology and engaging with students at A-Level.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, preparing students for their exams, and fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment. The ideal candidate will be able to create engaging lessons that motivate students to reach their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality A-Level Psychology lessons.
  • Support students in their academic progress and development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and exam board specifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching A-Level Psychology is highly desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students.
