GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive client school in Wakefield. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the study of Science and the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Science department's success.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that foster a love of Science, ensuring students meet their full academic potential.

Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and strategies.

Required Qualifications for a Science Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
