Spanish Teacher

Prospero Teaching are looking for a vibrant Spanish Teacher to join the MFL department as maternity cover in a 'good' Secondary School in Wakefield this September.

The ideal candidate

• Plan and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment.
• Fully engage within the department and wider school.
• Attend parents evenings and other extra curricular evenings.

This position is full time and for 9 months.

• Location - Wakefield
• Position - Spanish teacher
• Start Date - September
• End Date - May half term.
• Duration / Likely Duration - 9 months
• Contract Type: Long term temp
• Hours - 08:00 - 16:00

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
• Spanish / MFL related degree.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
