About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Stores Manager ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who has been in their current position for at least 3 years and is now seeking a new challenge with a reputable, forward-thinking company. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the stores function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of service across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee goods-in operations using Tesseract, ensuring accurate and timely booking of deliveries
  • Manage stock allocation, relocation, and control across systems
  • Supervise the picking and packing of goods-out and customer orders via Tesseract and the company website
  • Perform regular stock checks and proactively address any discrepancies
  • Communicate daily with delivery drivers to manage collection and drop-off schedules
  • Handle the return process for repaired or serviced items
  • Ensure timely invoicing and correct use of internal systems
  • Maintain customer delivery instructions and handle special order requirements
  • Coordinate with customers for stock bookings (plant & test items)
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues or damages
  • Use Zendesk to track internal tasks and manage customer follow-ups

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a stores or warehouse management role with leadership responsibility
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively

  • A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with a calm, can-do approach
  • Strong communication skills across all levels—internal teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure

  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation within the stockroom

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a warehouse/stores role, ideally in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Solid understanding of stock control, goods-in/out, and audit processes
  • Comfortable using Excel and Outlook for day-to-day tasks
  • Clean UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Export knowledge (preferred but not essential)
