Our Client, Wakefield Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Child Protection Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Carryout assessments within the prescribed timescales.
  • Develop trusting relationships with children and their families.
  • Ensuring that the welfare of the child is the main priority.
  • Management of your own caseload, offering flexibility to the needs of the service.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
  • Must have minimum of 2 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
