We are looking for a Senior Social Worker specialising in foster care to join the Wakefield Mainstream Fostering Team, based at County Hall, Bond Street, Wakefield, Original Head Office (UK). Offering an attractive £35.00 per hour for a full-time role, this locum opportunity spans over 3 months and promises both dynamic work and excellent remuneration. What you will do:
- Support and manage a caseload of foster carers, ensuring high standards of care for looked-after children.
- Conduct assessments and provide ongoing supervision and support to foster carers.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop, plan, and implement care strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and contribute to meetings and reviews concerning the children's welfare.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for foster carers to enhance their skills and understanding.
