Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team at a vibrant hospital school in Wakefield.

About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of additional needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), speech and language difficulties, and physical disabilities. Our school caters to different age groups, from early years to secondary education, providing a unique and rewarding experience for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and respected.
