Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield, working with children who have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is a full-time role starting in January, with the potential for a permanent contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing.
  • Feeding Tubes: Support children with feeding tubes, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Moving and Handling: Safely assist with the physical movement of children, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Classroom Support: Aid in the delivery of tailored educational activities and support the teacher in managing the classroom environment.
