Empowering Learning are working with an Alternative Provision in Wakefield who are seeking Sports Coaches/Behaviour Support Workers to support in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are temp to perm and are to start after the October half term.

You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities.

```Duties```
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
