Sports Coach

Location: Wakefield (WF1)

Daily Rate: £90 to £110 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP/January 2025

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join a dynamic team at a fantastic client school in Wakefield.

Job Summary: As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in promoting physical education, encouraging teamwork, and inspiring students to reach their potential through sports and fitness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about shaping young lives and fostering a love for physical activity in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Sports Coach, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and sports sessions tailored to students' needs and abilities.
Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and clubs.
Promote teamwork, resilience, and a love for physical activity.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to support the school’s PE curriculum.
Foster a safe, supportive, and positive environment where all students can thrive.

Requirements:

To be successful in this Sports Coach role, you should have:

Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role.
Relevant qualifications, such as a coaching certificate or degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field would be a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young people.
A commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Currently residing in the UK.
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
