Elevation Recruitment Group,  are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Wakefield. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their team.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our inventory and related data. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire inventory management process, ensuring optimal stock levels, and implementing efficient data management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain optimal levels of inventory to meet production and customer demands.
  • Conduct regular stock assessments, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive database for all inventory-related information.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry, including product codes, descriptions, and quantities.
  • Implement and enforce data quality control measures to prevent errors.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and trends.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and enhanced efficiency in inventory management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to optimise inventory processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their inventory needs and challenges.
  • Utilise and optimise the use of inventory management software and other relevant tools.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance data and inventory control systems.

Requirements

  • This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate across departments to streamline processes. You must have the following attributes;
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (look-ups, pivot tables, large data volumes)
  • Proven experience in inventory management and data control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
