White Label Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading pump company based in Yorkshire, providing innovative solutions for a wide range of industries, including water treatment, food and beverage, chemicals, and more. This site of the business has a small close knit team, and due to continued growth and success, they are now looking to take on an Internal Sales person to join their team.
The Role:
- Handle internal sales enquiries, interpreting customer requirements, and spec’ing the appropriate pumps
- Producing quotations
- Manage large quantity orders, reviewing project documentation, technical data sheets, and ensuring all requirements are met from start to finish.
- Understand customer needs, read technical drawings, and determine the correct pump size, pressure, and flow rates.
- Coordinate with the manufacturer and suppliers to ensure accurate product specifications, bespoke requirements, and on-time delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service, answering queries, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Process order entry and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Work closely with the internal sales team, apprentices, and the wider sales team to achieve office targets and ensure smooth operations.
The Person:
- Must have experience producing quotations for pumps
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
- A strong understanding of pump specifications, including pressure and flow rates, is highly desirable
- A proactive individual with a passion for internal sales.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ask the right questions to fully understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Salary and Benefits:
- Highly competitive salary dependent on experience
- Annual Bonus: Up to 10% of salary, with 4 company-based and 1 personal target.
- 25 days holiday per year, plus statutory holidays (pro-rata).

- Work Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (39 hours per week). Flexible working options after 6 months, including two days working from home.
