Someone capable of delivering high-quality projects while managing a diverse range of challenges? This is a great opportunity for a Freelance Site Manager to join a dynamic team delivering civil engineering projects within the Yorkshire Water framework.SCOPE OF WORKS: Construction of a segmental shaft and open-cut sewers. DUTIES: • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel • Ensure project milestones are met in line with programme • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations• Report progress, budget, and any issues to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders• Liaise with local residents and authorities to minimise disruption and manage expectations• Resolve any site issues promptly to keep the project on trackTHE CANDIDATE: • Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils projects, preferably within the water sector• Strong knowledge of segmental shaft construction and open-cut sewer techniques• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of workers and subcontractors• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships Apply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds)
