We are actively seeking General Operatives for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established manufacturer of industrial fillings and carpets based in Wakefield City Centre. Job Description:
- As a general operative, you will be part of a key production team responsible for creating liners. The work is fast-paced and requires focus, teamwork, and attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing various tasks, including material handling, quality checks, and assembly.
- Some aspects of the role involve heavy lifting and physical activity, so candidates should be comfortable with manual tasks.
- You will rotate between different tasks to ensure smooth operations and maintain productivity.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Shift patterns:
Monday to Thursday- 05.45am-05.45pm/ 05.45pm-05.45am rotating weekly.
OR
Monday to Friday- 06.00-18.00/18.00-06.00 rotating weekly.
Overtime paid after 48 hours.

Wakefield City Centre (easily accessible)

Temp-to-perm (with long-term potential)
Pay structure:
Days: £11.44 per hour
Nights: £12.44 per hour
Overtime starting from: £14.87-£16.17 per hour

Candidate Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high production standards.
