A great opportunity has arisen for a TIG welder to join a leading company who supply to various industries, including Aerospace, Manufacturing and Civil.
Job Description:
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, primarily aluminium profiles, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, following technical drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate parts as required.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in TIG welding.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.
Additional Details:
- Negotiable salary
- Mon - Thurs - 7am - 5:30pm - 4 day week
- Friday - overtime availability
- Weld bonus structure - OTE - 45K - 50K
