My client in the Hemsworth area require x 2 Welder / Fabricator / FittersOur client is a leading manufacturer of safety equipment.The Role:You will operate welding machines to fuse metal segments together using MIG or other processesMeasuring, cutting, clamping, grinding, drilling, or tacking metal pieces before weldingYou will be required to fabricate parts following mechanical drawings.You will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.You will be expected to maintain the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality ensuring products are produced and delivered OTIF to the customers’ requirements.You will check and complete all paperwork associated with the works order.Performance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems shortages or equipment breakdown.You may be required to visit customer sites throughout the UK.Using general workshop machinery and hand tools related the role.Quality inspection of colleague’s output.Skills, Knowledge & Experience:Fabrication/welding- MIG, MMA/Stick Welding, Stud Welding and Plasma Cutting- essentialPreferable have experience using the Armarda Press BrakeHands on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - desirableThe ability to understand mechanical drawings - essentialOverhead crane/lifting slinging experience - desirableFLT Counterbalance - desirableHave good written and verbal communication skillsExperience of working collaboratively with other operations personnelExperience of working within a continuous improvement environment - desirableFull driving licence - essentialStrong attention to detailGood communication skillsOvertime availableIND123
