Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Specification Writer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients who Leading manufacturing company leading the way in the bakery sector, providing to leading retailers in the UK
Principle Responsibilities for the Specification Writer :-
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of primary account requirements, including retailer and customer codes of practice and standards.
- Have a basic understanding of other accounts and provide support for specification completions as needed, such as during holiday coverage or periods of higher workload.
- Oversee the management and timely completion of critical path tasks for primary accounts.
- Ensure specifications are completed to a high standard, right the first time, and in line with KPIs.
- Manage and administer retailer systems, including specification and artwork systems, and communicate any notifications from these systems to the appropriate internal personnel.
Person specification:-
- Familiarity with at least three of the following retailer systems: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-op, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl, Premier/Mondelez (Hamilton Grant).
- Current knowledge of the requirements and codes of practice (COP) for three of the retailers listed above.
- Capable of using personal initiative to meet deadlines.
- Packaging and legal labelling training
- HACCP/Food Safety Level 2 training
This is a full time permanent Specification Writer position, offering an annual salary of 32,500 plus annual company benefits to include a 28 days holida, Discounted gym membership, compassionate leave and sick pay and free car parking and free tea and biscuits.
